Our Story
Here at Winstanley Windows, we pride ourselves on being a family-run business that has been providing top-quality glass and glazing services to our customers in Folkestone, Kent, and surrounding areas for over 40 years. Our story began in 1977, when our founder, Robert, started his career in the glass and glazing industry as a trainee at a well-known Folkestone glass company. Over the years, Robert gained extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of the industry, from glass cutting to fitting shop fronts.
In 1993, Robert decided to take the leap and set out on his own, initially working solo, covering the selling, surveying, and installation process of the business. The company's reputation for excellence soon grew, and the workforce expanded rapidly, with teams of employed fitters, a separate glazing division, and a full-time service department. Many of our staff have been with us since the early days and have grown with the company, becoming team leaders and experts in their fields.

- Roofing systems, including the "Livin Roof" by Ultraframe and the "Supalite" tiled roof system
- Glass and glazing services, including replacing single panes of glass, broken or misted double-glazed units, glass splashbacks, and secondary glazing
- Repair and servicing department, covering most hardware failures and replacements
- Building services, including fascias, soffits, and guttering
