At Saddleworth Traditional Sash Windows, we are a small family-run business with a rich history in bench hand joinery, specialising in sliding sash windows. Our expert team, led by Michael Howe, has over 25 years of joinery experience, passed down from his father Jack Howe. Michael worked alongside his father for many years and is now passing on the knowledge to his new apprentice and own son, Tom. Our dedicated approach to traditional craftsmanship ensures that our custom-made sash windows, sash window repair and restoration, and glazing and security services meet the highest standards.

Custom Made Sash Windows: We manufacture and install bespoke timber windows and doors, including sliding sash windows, internal doors, external doors, bi-fold doors, and more. Our windows are crafted from sustainable timber, specifically sourced from Accoya Wood.

Sash Window Repair & Restoration: We restore traditional sash windows to their former glory, whether it's renewing parting beads with draft proofing, re-attaching weights, replacing ropes and pulleys, or replacing window furniture.

Glazing and Security: We can replace single glazing with double-glazed units, providing extra security for peace of mind and reducing heat loss. Our security options include child-friendly mechanisms and locking devices in various designs and colours.

We work exclusively with Accoya Wood, which offers exceptional durability and sustainability. Accoya Wood is engineered from pure wood, unlike other engineered products, which often use virgin wood pulp. This allows us to create exquisite custom-made sash windows that meet the highest quality standards.
