Poor Customer Service
Despite having a good experience with the actual products, several customers have reported poor customer service from Sidey. Lynne Martin, Lorna Kennedy, and Rob Duncan all received poor service, with issues including a faulty letterbox, a sudden increase in quote, and a near-crash during a delivery.
Product Issues
Some customers have also experienced problems with the products themselves. Pauline Gillies reported mould growth on her sunroom after just one winter, and Alexander Gerard had to replace his door due to a split. The company seems to have a rigid approach to guarantees, with Gerard's issue being deemed out of warranty.
Mixed Reviews
However, there are also several positive reviews from satisfied customers. Linda Deans praised the "dream team" who fitted her windows and door, while Debbie Matthews and Laura Hughes both had a pleasant experience with their window and door replacements. Nancy Honeyball's 90-year-old aunt was also thrilled with her new windows.
Overall
It appears that while Sidey may have some issues with customer service and product quality, they also have a dedicated team of fitters who can deliver excellent results.
